“No eye has seen,

No ear has heard,

No heart has imagined,

What God has prepared

For those who
love Him.”

- 1 Corinthians 2:9

I had a heart to see the worth of Jesus in the small acts of service and how the small acts of service are extravagant in His eyes. He sees and thinks so much different than we do. He gave me His eyes.
"The reason why I do missions is because of the love that Christ has shown me. The more that I reflect on Christ's love, the more that I am provoked to share that same love with others. Christ loved me when I didn't deserve it, so I only find it fitting to do the same for others. Jesus gave His life for me, and the only response that makes sense to me is to give mine back to Him."

We made ourselves available and said "Yes" to God.

We took Jesus' command seriously to GO and make disciples.

We sought first the Kingdom of God and not our own kingdom.

We saw people, families & cities not as they are, but as they could be.

We believed God could restore, heal, free, & redeem all.

We believed God could use us to turn the world upside down like He did with the early disciples.

Giving up my Saturday mornings was easy for me when I came to understand that a life lived for myself isn’t a life worth living. God is everything to me, and to realize there were kids who haven’t heard about Him... I couldn’t do it. I couldn’t allow myself the luxury of a little extra sleep at the expense of kids not hearing of my Savior.
