Ropes Recap & the Send-Off

ORU Missions Ropes is a week-long intensive training that every ORU missionary undergoes before departing on their missions trip. The purpose of this week is to train teams for effective discipleship in a cross-cultural context through physical challenges, team building activities, cultural immersion scenarios, evangelism and ministry preparation, and powerful night services. How powerful it was to see the Lord move, heal, and stir in students, even before they left on their trips! The ORU Missions & Outreach staff is so grateful to the 69 facilitators and support staff members that came together to serve, love, and train students, and to make Ropes 2018 possible.

After Ropes, teams departed on Sunday, and all teams have landed safe and healthy in country and have begun ministry with their contacts! Be on the lookout for team updates throughout the next month, and continue to pray for the teams as they minister in 29 countries all over the world.
