ENGLAND

local church ministry + local outreach + outdoor projects + relationship building

Join us in Dunstable, England—just north of London—as we partner with COM Church to help build a vibrant, Christ-centered community. You'll help plan church events, build relationships with kids and youth, and assist with services by leading worship, serving in the coffee shop, teaching Sunday School, and more. Beyond the church, you’ll engage in local outreach through gardening projects and partnerships with organizations like the food bank. This trip is a unique opportunity to serve, build meaningful relationships, and experience the warmth of a welcoming English town.

FAQs

  • Your passport MUST NOT expire before December 15, 2026.

No visas are required for US citizens to enter England at this time, but a UK ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required. Each student must apply and pay for the ETA themselves (about $22 USD), and it is good for 2 years.

  • Each country’s immunization and medication requirements and recommendations are based on Travelers’ Health from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the recommendations of our contacts. These requirements and recommendations are subject to change based on outbreaks, government mandates, etc.

Students are personally responsible for making medical decisions regarding vaccinations and are encouraged to evaluate their own needs and risks. Students are financially responsible for the cost of their immunizations or medications; the cost of immunizations or medication are not included in the trip price.

We monitor outbreak situations, and vaccine requirements and recommendations could change at any time based on what is happening in the world.

ORU Missions strongly recommends that all students are up to date on routine vaccines, including: polio, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, HPV, Diphtheria-Tetanus-Pertussis, and Measles-Mumps-Rubella (MMR).

Routine vaccines are recommended for England.
