Join us on a meaningful trip to Klang, Malaysia, as we partner with ElShaddai Centre to serve refugees and marginalized communities. You’ll help plan and lead sports days that foster friendship and community among the students, while also exploring different areas of the center to see how they serve the Muslim community through education, social work, and healthcare. You’ll also connect with local youth and participate in services at Generations Church. This trip is a unique opportunity to partner with an incredible organization and build lasting relationships across cultures and faiths.

  • Your passport MUST NOT expire before December 15, 2026.

    No visas are required for US citizens to enter Malaysia at this time.

  • Each country’s immunization and medication requirements and recommendations are based on Travelers’ Health from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the recommendations of our contacts. These requirements and recommendations are subject to change based on outbreaks, government mandates, etc.  

    Students are personally responsible for making medical decisions regarding vaccinations and are encouraged to evaluate their own needs and risks. Students are financially responsible for the cost of their immunizations or medications; the cost of immunizations or medication are not included in the trip price.

    We monitor outbreak situations, and vaccine requirements and recommendations could change at any time based on what is happening in the world. 

    ORU Missions strongly recommends that all students are up to date on routine vaccines, including: polio, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, HPV, Diphtheria-Tetanus-Pertussis, and Measles-Mumps-Rubella (MMR).

    Routine vaccines routine vaccines + Polio + Typhoid + Cholera + Meningitis + Yellow Fever + Covid-19 are recommended for Kenya.

    Routine vaccines + Typhoid are recommended for Malaysia.
